5-minute typing test
The endurance benchmark. Five minutes mirrors real work — emails, essays, chat — far better than a quick sprint. If you want a number that reflects how you actually type all day, this is the one.
How the test works
The timer starts the moment you press your first key. Type the passage as it appears — the test measures correct keystrokes, so accuracy counts. By default it's lowercase with a period at the end of each sentence; use the toggles to add capitals, punctuation, or numbers. When the clock runs out you'll get your WPM, accuracy, and error count.
